Located in the heart of Newark, New Jersey, Prudential Center has been the home for several pro and college sports teams in New Jersey. Known as The Rock, the venue has seen postseason action in hockey and basketball, as well as marquee fights, concerts, and other noteworthy events, all while providing fans with a positive fan experience.

The main use of Prudential Center is hockey, as the New Jersey Devils call the arena home for half of their season each year. The Devils have also had the most success in the arena, with The Rock hosting Stanley Cup Final games in 2012, when the Devils fell to the Los Angeles Kings in the league's championship series.

In basketball, Prudential Center has had an interesting history that included the NBA for an extended period of time. Before their move to Brooklyn, the Nets went by the New Jersey Nets and called the Prudential Center home. During that time the NBA Draft was held at the Prudential Center as well. The Rock has also been home to plenty of college basketball, with the Seton Hall Pirates and NJIT Highlanders playing their home games there. There have been two Jon 'Bones' Jones title fights at Prudential Center, with Jones knocking out Chael Sonnen and defeating Mauricio Rua as well. Georges St. Pierre has also defended a title at Prudential Center, winning a unanimous decision over Dan Hardy at UFC 111.

In addition to the above, Prudential Center was also the home of Super Bowl media day ahead of Super Bowl XLVIII, which took place in the nearby MetLife Stadium.
