Will Tedeschi Trucks Band have special guests at the Beacon Theatre in 2027?

No special guests have been announced for Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2027 Beacon Theatre residency, but if previous years are any indication, fans could be in for some surprises.

The band's 2026 residency showed just how unpredictable these concerts can be. Over 10 nights, Tedeschi Trucks Band welcomed an impressive collection of special guests, including Cyndi Lauper, Warren Haynes, Wilco guitarist Nels Cline and jazz guitarist Julian Lage.

The March 28 finale was particularly memorable, with Derek Trucks reuniting with former Allman Brothers bandmates Haynes and Jaimoe for "Dreams" and "Whipping Post." Lauper also returned to the stage for a cover of The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends."

With that kind of history, fans attending the 2027 residency have plenty of reasons to wonder who might show up next.

What to expect at Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2027 Beacon Theatre concerts

If you've never seen Tedeschi Trucks Band live, you're in for a concert that doesn't follow much of a script.

Led by the husband-and-wife duo of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, the 12-piece band brings together blues, rock, soul, gospel and jazz, with a lineup that includes a horn section, multiple vocalists and two drummers. Tedeschi's powerful voice and Trucks' slide guitar playing lead the way, but every member of the group gets opportunities to shine.

Fans can expect favorites like "Midnight in Harlem," "Anyhow," "Bound for Glory" and "Soul Sweet Song," along with music from the band's 2026 album, Future Soul.

One of the biggest reasons fans attend multiple Tedeschi Trucks Band concerts is the constantly changing setlist. The group rarely plays the same show twice, regularly mixing in deep cuts, unexpected covers and extended instrumental jams that can take familiar songs in completely different directions.

The Beacon Theatre is particularly well suited for that approach. Rather than playing one show and moving on to the next city, the band can dig deeper into its catalog over 10 nights, giving longtime fans plenty of reasons to return.
