As the end of the NFL Playoff season nears, it’s time to prepare for the biggest football event of the year: Super Bowl LVII. The Super Bowl is one of the highest anticipated events, attracting all walks of life, including those outside the football community.

Fans celebrate worldwide via massive viewing shows, tailgate parties and tasty snacks. Many of which show up solely for the Halftime Show. This year, viewers will be blessed with a Halftime performance from the ever-so-loved Rihanna

This year’s matchup will see the No.1 Kansas City Chiefs take on the No.1 Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s everything you need to know about Super Bowl LVII, including teams in, halftime performance details and how to get tickets.

Who is playing in the Super Bowl LVII?

Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in Super Bowl LVII. After a close win against the Bengals, the Chiefs return to the Super Bowl after failing to win back-to-back titles in 2021. While the AFC Championship could’ve been anyone’s game, many fans and critics consider the NFC Championship an “easy” win for the Eagles. The 49ers had a string of bad luck, playing their 4th-string quarterback in the championship and losing a few other players to injuries throughout the game.

Needless to say, the Eagles fought for their spot every step of the way. Despite the 49ers missing their star offensive players, the Eagles put up 31 points against San Fran’s incredible defense. Sunday night brought celebrations in Kansas City and Philadelphia, including a few passionate Birds fans climbing greased poles. With both teams sitting in the No. 1 seed in each respective conference, maybe the Super Bowl matchup isn’t a surprise, but the game itself will provide enough surprises to go around.

When is Super Bowl LVII?
