In support of his new album CHAMPIONSHIPS (due out November 30), Meek Mill has just announced dates behind The Motivation Tour. The shows mark the rapper’s first official tour since his April 2018 release from jail, an experience which prompted him to write a recent New York Times op-ed titled “Prisoners Need a New Set of Rights.”
The late-winter tour kicks off on February 19 at The Fillmore in Miami, followed by stops in Texas, California, Denver, Chicago and Detroit. On March 12 he’ll perform at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, before making his way to Philly, DC and North Carolina. The tour comes to a close on March 24 at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, GA.
