Swapmeet will support Death Cab for Cutie on the spring 2027 mainland run of the "I Built You A Tower" tour.
The Adelaide four-piece makes indie rock with a mix of lo-fi, alternative and emo influences. Swapmeet released its debut album, Mount Zero, in 2026, featuring songs including “I Know!,” “Sand,” “Halfway” and “Bonny.”
Death Cab for Cutie have already played several I Built You A Tower shows in 2026, giving fans a pretty good idea of what the 2027 dates could look like.
Recent headlining sets have mixed a sizable chunk of I Built You A Tower with songs from across the band's catalog. Newer tracks including “Riptides,” “Punching the Flowers,” “Stone Over Water,” “How Heavenly a State” and “Trap Door” have been regular parts of the show, alongside longtime favorites like “I Will Follow You Into the Dark,” “Soul Meets Body,” “Crooked Teeth,” “The New Year” and “Transatlanticism.”
The exact setlist changes from night to night. Death Cab have rotated deeper cuts such as “Photobooth,” “Summer Skin,” “Company Calls,” “A Movie Script Ending” and “Title Track” into recent shows, so there is room for surprises beyond the songs that appear almost every night.
For a full headlining show, expect Death Cab to be onstage for roughly an hour and 45 minutes. Recent dates in Dublin ran about 100 to 105 minutes, while several U.S. shows have landed closer to 110 minutes.
The 2027 run also includes a mix of theaters, music halls and larger venues, so the setup will vary by city. Check the seating map for your specific show before buying, especially if you have a preference between reserved seating and a more general-admission concert experience.
With venues ranging from intimate theaters to larger music halls, the best Death Cab for Cutie ticket depends on your city, budget and how close you want to be to the stage. Here’s how to compare your options on SeatGeek.
1. Find your Death Cab for Cutie show: Head to SeatGeek and search "Death Cab for Cutie" to see available dates, then select the city and venue you want.
2. Compare all-in prices upfront: SeatGeek uses All-In Pricing, so mandatory fees are included in the price you see while browsing instead of being added later at checkout.
3. Use Deal Score to compare value: Deal Score rates listings from 1 to 10 based on factors including price and seat location, making it easier to compare options across different sections.
4. Preview your view before buying: Use View From Seat when available to get a look at the stage from your section, which can be especially helpful in venues with multiple levels or very different sightlines.
5. Review your ticket details: Before checking out, confirm the event date, venue, section, row, delivery method and total price.
6. Buy with Buyer Guarantee protection: Eligible purchases are backed by the SeatGeek Buyer Guarantee if a covered issue comes up with your order.
Then it’s just a matter of getting inside before the lights go down and being there when “Soul Meets Body,” “Transatlanticism” or “I Will Follow You Into the Dark” turns the whole room into a singalong.
