This Was Great!!
My first ever concert was Tyler, the Creators Chromakopia world tour in Philly. SeatGeek made not only finding amazing suite seats super easy but made finding parking easy too! Metallica
My wife and I used Seat Geek for the first time last year we bought tickets for both nights of the Metallica concert in May in Nashville and we are outside of Chicago so it was a vacation we had to save for we bought the cheapest tickets and the day of because of production issues they moved us 5 rows from the floor great seats and they made it really right. Natalie Merchant, born on October 26, 1963, in Jamestown, New York, grew up immersed in music and literature. She began playing piano and singing from a young age, later attending Jamestown Community College where she DJ'd on the college radio station. In 1981, at just 17, she joined the fledgling folk-rock band 10,000 Maniacs, contributing her distinctive voice and poetic songwriting to their rise. With Merchant as lead vocalist and lyricist, the group released several albums—In My Tribe (1987), Blind Man’s Zoo (1989) and Our Time in Eden (1992)—earning multi-platinum success and establishing a strong presence in the alternative rock scene.
In 1993, seeking greater creative autonomy, Merchant departed 10,000 Maniacs and launched her solo career. Her debut solo album, Tigerlily (1995), sold over five million copies, propelled by hit singles such as “Carnival,” “Wonder” and “Jealousy.” Tigerlily debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and solidified her as a formidable solo artist. She continued to explore her artistry with subsequent albums—Ophelia (1998) and Motherland (2001)—which showcased her evolving musical voice, blending introspective folk-rock with socially conscious lyrics.
Beyond her studio work, Merchant has remained an influential figure in activism and the arts. She’s recorded nine solo albums to date, most recently Keep Your Courage (2023), and frequently collaborates with artists across genres while supporting environmental, social justice, and educational initiatives.
