About Dirty Heads Tickets

Dirty Heads is an American reggae-rock band from Huntington Beach, California, known for mixing reggae, hip-hop, rock, and alternative pop into a laid-back but radio-ready sound. Dirty Heads got started when Dustin “Duddy B” Bushnell teamed up with his friend Jared “Dirty J” Watson to build a project around positive vibes, melodic hooks, and genre-blending songs, later adding Jon Olazabal, Matt Ochoa, and David Foral to round out the group. That Southern California foundation helped Dirty Heads develop a style that feels equally at home on rock playlists, summer festival lineups, and streaming-era pop-reggae playlists.

Dirty Heads broke through with their 2008 debut Any Port in a Storm and gained major momentum when “Lay Me Down” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart, setting a record at the time for the longest run at the top by an independently released song. Later albums such as Cabin by the Sea, Sound of Change, Dirty Heads, Swim Team, and Midnight Control helped expand their audience, while songs like “Vacation,” “Lay Me Down,” “Rescue Me,” and “Life’s Been Good” became fan favorites. Their mix of beach-town ease and crossover songwriting has turned Dirty Heads into one of the most durable names in modern reggae-rock.

Dirty Heads’ career highlights include billions of on-demand streams, a platinum certification for “Vacation,” strong Billboard chart performance, and a long-running reputation as a major summer touring act. In 2026, Dirty Heads are entering a new chapter with their ninth studio album, 7 Seas, arriving June 12, alongside the co-headlining So Glad You Made It North American summer tour with 311. That combination of catalog strength, streaming success, and a busy new touring cycle keeps Dirty Heads highly relevant for fans searching for reggae-rock hits, festival-ready anthems, and current concert dates.
