Who is Wednesday?

Wednesday is an American alternative rock / indie band from Asheville, North Carolina, founded in 2017. The group is fronted by Karly Hartzman (vocals, guitar), and also includes Alan Miller (drums), Xandy Chelmis (pedal steel), Ethan Baechtold (bass), and MJ Lenderman (guitar, backing vocals) — though Lenderman has stepped back from touring since early 2025.
