With Usher announced as the half-time performer and fans placing bets on which teams will make it to the finish line, the question left on everyone’s mind is, ‘Where is the Super Bowl this year?’

In this article, we’ll not only uncover the 2024 Super Bowl location, but we’ll dive into the rich history of the Super Bowl and cover all the upcoming pregame Super Bowl festivities you surely won’t want to miss.

Where is the 2024 Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVIII promises to be a historic event, and its location is equally noteworthy. This year, the Super Bowl will be held at the state-of-the-art Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 10th, 2024.

This will be the first year that Allegiant Stadium has hosted the Super Bowl and the first time the Super Bowl has taken place in the state of Nevada. Super Bowl LVIII was originally set to occur in New Orleans’, but was rescheduled to 2025 due to conflicting dates with Mardi Gras celebrations.

About Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium opened in 2020, making it one of the newest NFL stadiums in the nation. Located just steps from the famous Mandalay Bay Resort, Allegiant Stadium is a paragon of innovation. The massive $1.9 billion dollar stadium spans across 62 acres and is considered the second-most expensive arena worldwide.

Allegiant Stadium is an indoor domed facility with ten levels and can accommodate up to 71,835 guests for NFL games. Allegiant Stadium hosts various events besides NFL games, including College football, soccer, professional wrestling, rugby, awards ceremonies, basketball and concerts.

Allegiant Stadium NFL History

Serving as the proud home of the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium has already witnessed countless memorable football moments. Notably, in the wake of its grand opening, Allegiant Stadium hosted the 2022 and 2023 Pro Bowl games, setting the stage for a series of remarkable highlights.

The 2022 Pro Bowl marked the final chapter of the traditional AFC versus NFC showdown. The AFC, led by coach Mike Vrabel of the Tennessee Titans, came out on top with 41 total points. Meanwhile, the NFC team, coached by Matt LaFleur of the Green Bay Packers, showcased their skills by coming in close at 35 total points. The victory marked the AFC’s fifth consecutive Pro Bowl win.

Fast forward to 2023, the Pro Bowl underwent a transformative switch, adopting a groundbreaking flag football format complemented by a series of skills competitions. This innovative concept results from a collaborative creation between the NFL, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and A. Smith & Co. and brings a fresh twist to the Pro Bowl experience.

Peyton Manning took the reins as the AFC team’s coach, while his brother, Eli Manning, guided the NFC team to their first win in five years, finishing with a score of 35-33.

With the Pro Bowl’s presence at Allegiant Stadium, the venue solidified its reputation as a dynamic and iconic football arena. These two Pro Bowl games served as a prelude to what promises to be an unforgettable Super Bowl LVIII in 2024.

Super Bowl LVII Recap and Highlights

Super Bowl LVII was a gridiron showdown for the ages. Held at the spectacular State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the game featured high-stakes drama, dazzling touchdowns and game-changing plays. While the game was close, the Kansas City Chiefs held it down for the AFC, dominating the NFC Philadelphia Eagles 38-35. Super Bowl LVII marked the team's third Super Bowl championship, the most recent being the Super Bowl LIV in 2020.
