About All Things Go Tickets

The All Things Go Music Festival originated in 2014 as the Fall Classic at Union Market in Washington, D.C. Founded by Adrian Maseda, Will Suter, Zack Friendly and Stephen Vallimarescu, the event began as a small indie-pop gathering featuring breakout acts like Tove Lo and Future Islands. Over the years it evolved from 5,000‑capacity venues to the 20,000‑seat Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland (from 2021 onward) and later expanded into New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium in 2024. Despite its growth, ATG prides itself on a curated, single-stage experience—no overlapping sets and no big art installations—staying true to its indie roots.

Each autumn, All Things Go brings together a diverse lineup emphasizing pop, rock, indie, hip‑hop and electronic acts, with a strong focus on female, non‑binary, and LGBTQ+ artists. Past editions have spotlighted Billie Eilish, Lorde, Carly Rae Jepsen, Maggie Rogers, Lana Del Rey, Charli XCX, Hozier and many others. The festival also prides itself on responsiveness to fans: set times are tweaked based on Instagram polls and feedback, creating a community-oriented vibe.

In 2025, the festival celebrates its eleventh year, expanding to a three-day format—September 26–28—in both Columbia and NYC, with headliners like Noah Kahan, Lucy Dacus, Doechii, Kesha, The Marías, Clairo and Julien Baker. Unique elements such as immersive art installations, curated food lines, and LGBTQ+-friendly spaces firmly position ATG in contrast to massive, influencer-driven festivals. Dubbed affectionately as “Gay‑chella,” “All Things Gay,” and “Lesbopalooza” by fans, it offers a safe, relaxed environment with real facilities like bathrooms, water stations, and seating—emphasizing the music above all.

All Things Go continues to grow while maintaining its indie ethos and strong community values, championing underrepresented artists and crafting inclusive, high‑energy experiences that resonate deeply with music lovers across the East Coast and beyond.

When did the All Things Go Festival start?

The All Things Go Festival began in 2014 as a grassroots indie event at Union Market in Washington, D.C., organized by music bloggers and promoters. Originally called the “Fall Classic,” it featured small indie acts before growing rapidly.

What makes the All Things Go Festival different from other festivals?

Here is what makes the All Things Go Festival unique:

  • Artist-forward experience: No overlapping sets, thoughtfully curated lineups

  • Inclusivity: Heavy LGBTQ+ and BIPOC representation in its bookings

  • Community-focused: Fans influence set times and logistics through polls and social engagement

  • Amenities: Real bathrooms, shaded seating, free water stations and short entry lines set it apart from larger, chaotic festivals

Why is All Things Go sometimes called "Gay-chella"?
